For Valentine’s Day, first decide whether you are sending a small surprise or arranging dessert to share. That makes it easier to choose the right quantity and delivery arrangement without relying on the size of a gift box in a photograph.
A personalised slice for a small surprise
Our Valentine’s honey-cake slice comes in a gift box with a free gift note. The product offers a romantic sign, a name or photo personalisation. Check the current options and keep the cake message short enough to read easily.
Use the gift note for the longer message and sign it so the recipient knows who sent it. If you choose a photo, pick one with a clear subject that will still make sense at a small size. The slice is a small edible gift; do not assume it provides dessert for two unless the selected quantity suits your plans.
Biscuits for a shared tea break
The Valentine’s biscuit gift box contains handmade biscuits in gift packaging and includes a gift note. It is an alternative when your recipient prefers biscuits to layered cake. Check the current contents and quantity before buying for a group.
Before sending food, confirm the recipient’s dietary requirements. Read the individual product information and our allergen policy. Our kitchen handles allergens, and we cannot guarantee products free from cross-contact.
A whole cake for a celebration together
If cake will be your dessert at home or part of a larger celebration, browse whole cakes and tell us the portions you need. A custom design can be discussed through our enquiry form, subject to the date and design being confirmed.
Whole cakes need collection or an agreed delivery arrangement. Do not apply the shipping details of a postal slice to a larger decorated cake.
Plan the arrival before the message
Confirm where your recipient will be able to receive the parcel. If it is a workplace, include the company and receiving details and check whether deliveries are accepted on the intended day. For an unfamiliar address, arrange a suitable handover with someone the recipient trusts.
Our delivery page explains preparation, dispatch and delivery. Standard arrival dates are estimates unless we expressly agree a required delivery date. If arrival on a particular day is essential, please ask before ordering so we can confirm whether we can meet it before payment. Free tracked delivery is included for our postal products within mainland England, Scotland and Wales. Seasonal availability and order cut-offs need confirmation for the year you are ordering.
