Chocolate, apricot and almond sponge
We make our Sacher Torte with rich chocolate sponge, almonds, apricot jam and chocolate ganache. The chocolate layers and apricot filling give it a balance of chocolate and fruit, finished with a smooth chocolate covering.
Interesting fact: In Ukraine, this cake is known as "Zaher cake" – likely due to a different pronunciation of the original German name.
Our standard recipe contains milk. We can offer an alternative recipe made without milk ingredients, but it may contain milk. Please contact us before ordering to discuss the ingredients and allergen information.

Cream: Double cream (MILK), MILK, dark chocolate (sugar, cocoa mass, cocoa butter, emulsifier: lecithins, vanilla extract), milk chocolate (sugar, cocoa mass, cocoa butter, whole MILK powder, lactose (MILK), emulsifier: lecithins, vanilla extract), unsalted BUTTER (MILK), apricot jam (sugar, apricot, acidity regulators: citric acid, sodium citrates, gelling agent: pectins).
